Ecology Walk:

Great for all ages! Get close to our rare Weka. See or hear other birds like tui, warblers, fantails & fernbirds. Learn about native plants and their uses. Hunt for Weta (the gentle giants of the insect world). Understand the conservation challenges facing native wildlife and what we are doing to protect it.

Night Walk:

The forest changes when the sun sets! This is when Kiwi come out to forage, giving you a chance to hear or even see wild Kiwi in their natural habitat. Ruru, a native owl can be heard & shy insects emerge.
